The ideal time for the Adi Kailash & Om Parvat Yatra is from May to mid-October. This period offers clear mountain views, pleasant weather, and safe road conditions. The best months are June, September, and early October.
May – June: Mild and pleasant; daytime temperatures between 10°C – 20°C. Nights can be cold.
July – August: Monsoon season with heavy rainfall and occasional roadblocks.
September – October: Post-monsoon clarity; fresh landscapes and ideal for trekking and sightseeing.
Inner Line Permit (ILP) is mandatory for visiting Gunji, Nabi, and Adi Kailash region. Carry multiple photocopies of ID proofs.
Carry warm clothes, rain gear, and comfortable trekking shoes.
