Day wise Itinerary


  • Day 0
    New Delhi to Shimla by Bus
    The adventure begins as you gather with fellow travelers at ISBT Kashmiri Gate, Delhi, at 7 PM. Board a comfortable Volvo bus and set off for Shimla, filled with excitement and anticipation. Spend the night on the road, sharing laughter and building new friendships. Let the journey to Spiti Valley begin!
  • Day 1
    Shimla to Chitkul
    Arrive in Shimla in the morning, where your winter expedition to Spiti officially kicks off. Switch to a traveler vehicle and embark on a scenic drive through the stunning mountains. By evening, reach Chitkul or Sangla, the last inhabited village near the Indo-Tibetan border. Check into your hotel, enjoy a delicious dinner, and relax for the night.
  • Day 2
    Chitkul to Nako
    Start your day with breakfast and some time to explore the picturesque landscapes of Chitkul or Sangla. Continue your drive to Nako, passing through the dramatic Khab Sangam, where the Spiti and Sutlej rivers meet. Upon reaching Nako, take in the serene beauty of Nako Lake and the surrounding mountain ranges. Check into your hotel, share stories of the day, and enjoy a hearty dinner before retiring for the night.
  • Day 3
    Nako to Kaza
    Wake up early and enjoy breakfast as you prepare to journey deeper into Spiti Valley. En route to Kaza, visit the ancient Tabo Monastery, the mystical Dhankar Monastery, and the stunning Lingti Waterfall. Arrive in Kaza by evening, where the frozen charm of the Spiti Valley will leave you awestruck. Check into a cozy homestay, enjoy dinner, and rest for the night.
  • Day 4
    Kaza – Hikkim, Komik, Langza Exploration
    Take a leisurely day to explore some of Spiti's most charming villages. Visit Langza, home to a giant Buddha statue and fossil-rich surroundings. Head to Komik, the highest motorable village in the world, and then to Hikkim, famous for hosting the world’s highest post office. After a day filled with unique experiences, return to Kaza. Spend your evening exploring the local market before enjoying dinner and an overnight stay.
  • Day 5
    Kaza – Key, Kibber, Chicham Bridge
    Post breakfast, head out to visit the iconic Key Monastery, perched in a cascade-like fashion over a hill. Immerse yourself in its peaceful atmosphere and learn about the lives of the resident monks. Next, visit Kibber, known for its snow leopards and picturesque settings. End the day with a visit to Chicham Bridge, Asia's highest suspension bridge. Return to Kaza for dinner and overnight stay.
  • Day 6
    Kaza to Kalpa
    Begin your return journey after breakfast, retracing your path through Spiti’s mesmerizing landscapes. On the way, visit the enigmatic Gue Monastery, home to a 500-year-old mummified monk. By evening, arrive in Kalpa, a charming town offering breathtaking views of the Kinnaur Kailash range. Celebrate the day with a delicious dinner and a cozy overnight stay.
  • Day 7
    Kalpa to Shimla
    After breakfast, explore Kalpa’s renowned spots, including the Suicide Point and the spectacular views of the Kinnaur Kailash peaks. Begin your drive back to Shimla, reminiscing about the incredible journey. Upon reaching Shimla in the evening, board the Volvo bus to Delhi.
